We are a light bearer. You are a light bearer for God. And so the lamp stands in that regard, It’s a picture of us. Jesus said you are the light of the world. He also said I’m the light of the world. And then he said, you are the light of the world. Wow. We carry his light into this dark world. So the lampstand is gold. It’s pure gold. And that speaks of God’s nature. So God has put his DNA in you. He’s filled you with his spirit. You are his child. You’ve been born again, transplanted right out of the kingdom of darkness and into the realm of his dear son, it was beaten gold. It means that he is forming us. He’s a master craftsman, a master artist. He’s in control of the formation of Christ in me. That’s the hope that we have, Christ in us, the hope of glory, and who’s in charge of that formation, the Lord himself, he’s making us into that beautiful image that he sees. That he saw before the creation of us in the secret place before he formed us. He saw us and he’s bringing forth that creation in us every day. And again, that is why I’m not under anybody else’s microscope, not even my own, but I’m under the Lord’s microscope and he knows right where I am in my transformation process. He knows my heart. He’s the only one who knows me. And he loves me. And so I can trust him. Oh, is that some crushing I’m experiencing? It’s okay. Jesus is in charge. Oh, is that the fire of my trial getting hotter? It’s okay. Jesus is controlling the temperature. Oh, is this some pruning? Why is that getting cut off of my life? It’s okay. God is the husbandman. He’s the farmer. He’s the master craftsman making my life.
